Brief:
Morrisons’ Seasonal Heroes series shines a spotlight on a different vegetable each month through fun, trend-led social content. For August, the hero was the tomato.

Creative approach:
We developed a bank of weekly content ideas tapping into trending audio, CapCut templates, and relatable cultural moments, ensuring each piece felt fresh and native to TikTok and Instagram. External videographers captured the footage, while our internal editors brought the concepts to life, balancing speed, humour, and brand storytelling.

Challenge:
When unforeseen issues at the farm limited access to tomato footage, we pivoted the creative approach, finding clever, alternative ways to showcase the hero product without compromising on quality or engagement.

Results:
Maintained consistent weekly posting cadence despite production challenges
Delivered playful, trend-led content that kept audiences engaged
Reinforced Morrisons’ positioning as a brand that champions fresh, seasonal produce in a culturally relevant way
